Past and present of Osaka
Tennma has been flourished as an area where a lot of people gathered from ancient times. It is known as a residential area, as well as a commercial area where businesses were actively carried out especially in Edo period.
During this 3 hour trip, we will take a walk through Tennma area, including Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, Osaka Museum of Housing and Living, Osaka Temmangu Shrine. After walking the area and learning history of Osaka, you will reach Umeda area "Kita", which is now one of the busiest district in Osaka. You will certainly see both past and present Osaka!

The Osaka Museum of Housing and Living is a museum featuring history and culture of residences. Full-sized streets of Osaka from Meji period to Edo period are reproduced, so that you can walk in the street and feel like you are time-traveling as an Osakan!!
Osaka Temmangu shrine, known as Tenjin-san, is the most famous shrine among many Tenjin shrines in Japan. The original shrine hall was constructed in 949 A.D., and current main hall and the entrance gate were built in 1845 after being destroyed by fire several times.
Umeda Sky Building, a very tall building located in Umeda, is one of the must-go spots in the area. It is known for its dynamic form as it was introduced as the "buildings of 20 to represent the world" and has been a landmark of Osaka.
From observation deck "Hanging Gardens", you can get the 360-degree view of Osaka!
